This week's burning question is short and sweet. It's about a term we have often heard and used since we were small children.
But do we really know what it means?
Please reflect on the following the Burning Question:
As the people of God, we are all called to holiness. What is holiness? What does it mean to be holy?

Well... it doesnt mean we glow in the dark, that's for sure...
ReplyDeleteI would just like to offer the message in my personal reflection. Every person born has been given, by God's grace, that "potential" to be like Him (or to be in His image and likeness). It doesn't really matter what he becomes...a doctor, lawyer, engineer ...but his life, with God's powerful guidance, becomes holy when he reaches this "potential". The person becomes a fulfillment of God's loving plan.
ReplyDeleteHoliness for me is a reflection of Christ in or through us. If Christ is visible to a certain person in both words and in action, i believe he or she is a holy person. It is in the imitation of Christ that we become holy; the more Christlike we are, the holier we become.
